A MESSAGE FROM OUR

YOUTH MINISTER

The goal of the Our Student Ministry is to support the family model seen in the Bible. It is also our goal to help students grow in and share their faith with others. Our Student Ministry wants to help and support our students in being a good example of Jesus' love. We are excited about the chance to partner with you in teaching your student about the love of Jesus Christ.

THE VINE

Fellowship / Worship / Discipleship

Jesus says "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit: apart from me you can do nothing" in John 15:4-5. This is where the name THE VINE came from.  The number one goal of our Student Ministry is to connect students to Jesus because we are only truly alive when we are connected to Jesus who connects us to the Father.

October's Theme: “Are you in?” It’s a question we all answer over and over again. When there’s a party, when our coach says it’s time for tryouts, when we’re offered a summer job, when our friends go to the movies, or when someone invites us to church, we all have the chance to decide if we’re “in” or “out” for that particular activity. Sometimes the answer is an easy, “Count me in!” Other times it’s tougher. Join us as we decide what we are in for.

Theme info:
We live in a World that recognizes us based on what we look like after the make-up, the hair products, the lighting, the airbrushes, the workout, yet God arrived as nothing, poured out of Glory into insignificance. And He needs us to BE REAL.

We live in a World that will only grant us respect if we prove ourselves to be faster, stronger, and more powerful than those around us, yet our God is named Conqueror, having already won the Victory. And He asks us to BE A SERVANT.

We live in a World that wants us to step in line, blend in with the bored, learn the choreography of the crowd, and keep the apple cart from tipping, yet our God is the Spinner of Planets who has turned this World upside-down. And He commands us to BE BOLD.
