The mission of Woodstock Christian Church's Children's Ministry is to partner with the family. We believe in a biblical philosophy of ministry where parents or guardians are the God ordained teachers of faith. At WCC, we believe it is the church's job to be the light to the loving family. We would love to be a part of your family's faith journey.

Our Children's Ministry (2:52KIDZ) is a

combination of 3 ministries.

Birth to 3 (potty trained)

Our nursery offers a safe place for your little ones to play while you enjoy the service. All of our volunteers have background checks and we offer a pager system to allow us to contact you in the event that you are needed right away. We also have a nursing mother's lounge for moms with littles who need a quiet place to nurse. The nursery is also connected to a private bathroom to allow workers to help assist the older toddlers who may be starting to potty train. As with our older kids, all nursery aged children are checked into upon arrival and children's allergies are listed directly on their name tag to avoid any accidental exposures.

3 years to Kindergarten

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate from Kindergarten they know these three basic truths: God Loves Me, God Made Me, and Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever. As with our nursery, all of our preschool teachers are background checked. We also have a check-in system upon arrival to ensure the safety of  your child.

1st grade to 5th grade

Our elementary volunteers are background checked and trained to be a part of this ministry. Our elementary kids also use our check-in system upon arrival to ensure their safety.  When your child enters our 2:52KIDZ Elementary program, they will be sure to learn three very valuable lessons: I need to make the wise choice. (Wisdom) I can trust God no matter what. (Faith) I should treat others the way I want to be treated. (Friendship.) Our elementary program also has many different events throughout the year. These events are designed to help our elementary families build relationships with each other and have lots fun at the same time.

We also love to provide our parents with resources to help you in your jouney of parenthood.

Easter Egg Hunt

BUDDY CAMP (Rising K-2nd Grade) - Buddy Camp introduces first-time campers to the wonderful world of Christian camp! The Buddy camper comes to camp with their older (parent, grandparent, older sibling, etc.). They share in the camp experience by participating in camp activities together. Some Buddy Camp specific activities that have been done in the past include a petting zoo and a magician! This program is a one-night event and the cost covers both the camper and the buddy.

Buddy 1 - June 2-3, Buddy 2 - July 21-22.

BEGINNER CAMP (Rising 2nd-4th Grade) - Beginner Camp gives campers a taste of camp without their parents accompanying them. Campers stay for two nights and really get a chance to make friends. This is a great opportunity for parents to let their children test the waters of camp without making a week-long commitment. We know your child will have so much fun that he/she will want to come back in the years to come for a full week! The cost of this camp includes money for snacks (we call it canteen).

Beginner 1 - June 22-24, Beginner 2 - July 13-15

MIDDLER CAMP (Rising 3rd-5th Grade) - Middler Camp is our first full-week camp (Sunday through Thursday). Given more time, Middler campers are allowed to truly experience God through His creation and through the relationships the camper will be able to make with the camp staff, cabin-moms and cabin dads, and their peers. These campers also get to see all that North Georgia Christian Camp has to offer - from the climbing wall to paddle-boating with friends, and from talent shows and skit nights to campfires under the stars. The cost of this camp includes money for snacks (we call it canteen).

Middler 1 - May 28-June 1, Middler 2 - June 18-22, Middler 3 - July 9-13

** If you are in need of financial assistance to go on the trip, please contact the church office **
