Are you new to the area?

Visting with us this Sunday?

We are so glad to have you visit! This page was built specifically for new guests. We hope that you enjoy your visit and we would love to hear from you. We have tried to provide you with all the information you may need. More information can also be found on our 'About Us' and 'Ministries' pages.

A Few Quick Q and A's

Q: When does service start?

A: Our service starts at 10:30 am.

Q: Where do park?

A: We have many guest parking spots to the right of the front doors.

Q: What should I wear to church?

A: We don't have a dress code at Woodstock Christian. You will find people wearing blue jeans while others wear a suit. We care more about  you being here worshiping with us than we do about your clothes.

Q: Will I be asked to do anything?

A: We only ask our guests to fill out an information card if you feel comfortable. We just like to know you joined us!

Q: What should I expect?

A: A warm welcome and a great mixed contemporary service.

Q: Where does my child go for worship?

A: Our greeters will help you get your child to their age-specific service. We have three services offered for children. Nursery (birth to 3), Preschool (potty trained 3 year olds to Kindergarten) and an Elementary (first to fifth grade) service.

Q: What about the safety of my child?

A: We care deeply about your family and the safety of your family. We do background checks on all our volunteers. We also use a check-in system with coded tags for when parents pick up their children.

OUR MINISTRIES

We have a wide variety of ministries to help meet the different needs of individuals, families and our community. Check out our Ministries page by clicking the link below.

WHY WE EXIST

DISCIPLING THE BELIEVERS

We believe that placing your faith in Christ is just the begining of becoming a Christian. We believe that each Christian needs to grow in their devotion to Christ. This growth happens in many different ways: attending worship, joining a small group, serving at church and in the community, personal bible study and prayer time. This growth also happens at different speeds. We believe it is the church's role to support and help Christians grow in their personal faith with Jesus Christ at whatever pace  needed.

EVANGELIZING THE LOST

We believe that the Bible teaches that each Christian is called to share the good news about Jesus. We care deeply about spreading the good news of Jesus in our community but also around the world.  If you don't know the good news about Jesus we would be glad to share it with you. If you do know but don't have a church home we would be glad to have you partner with us and help spread the name of Jesus.

 MINISTERING TO NEEDS

Jesus spent a lot of His ministry reaching out to the hurting people around him. At Woodstock Christian Church we want to do the same and teach each Christian to live like Jesus did. We strive to be a church where broken and hurting people can turn to find a loving hand, not judgement.
