VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Come Join Forces With Us, As We Join Forces With God!Everyone loves a "Hero." Heroes seem larger than life and everyone looks up to them. At WCC we look to Jesus as our "Hero."
We invite all Pre-K to 5th Graders (Ages 3-12) to attend "Hero HeadQuarters: Where Kids Join Forces With God." This is the theme of our 2010 Vacation Bible School, which will take place Sunday - Friday, July 18-23, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Register today at www.vacationbibleschool.com/woodstockchristian and plan to be a part of an amazing adventure each day we're together as we join forces with God!
Chip will be reintroducing his newsletter column this summer, calling it "Chatting With Chip." He'll be addressing spiritual areas, but also topics that are close to you. Feel free to submit some topics you'd like to see discussed. You may email him at cward@woodstockchristian.org. Also, if you have Facebook, you can look him up online and write on his wall what you'd like to have discussed.
Can You Help?
Our Jr. Church program will be supporting Woodland Christian Camp in Temple, GA in an effort to do more promotion of a great resource for kids to learn about Jesus. If you have ever been to Woodland Camp, please see Chip, as he would like those who have been to give a testimonial about their experiences @ Woodland.

Supervised Nursery For all Programming
**The nursery is currently looking for a gently-used glider rocker or a small refrigerator (dorm-size.) If you have either of these items in good condition that you would like to donate to the nursery ministry, please contact Megagn Ward or the church office @ 770-926-8238.

Favorite Video Game - Anything involving sports, but I'd say any of the Madden NFL games.

Romans 12:1-2
Jesus had a lot to say about children. In Matthew 18, Jesus was asked who the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. He called a little child up and said, " I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me ." We at WCC believe in the last words of what Jesus said to his disciples.
When your child comes to WCC, they will know that we feel the same way as Jesus does about them. They will be welcomed into a safe, friendly, and fun environment where they will be shown love and respect. Each children's program is geared for them to grow, learn, and discover what Jesus means to them now and what He desires for them in their future.
We look forward to having the opportunity to minister to your child and plant the seeds that will hopefully lead to a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. As Jesus himself said, " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. " (Matt. 19:14)
